Movie: It's a Wonderful Life
A perennial holiday classic that turns eighty years old this year, Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life earns every bit of its legendary status. The story of small-town banker George Bailey, his various underdog struggles and disappointments, and his journey to seeing the meaning and value in his life is cinematic sustenance for the soul worth indulging year after year. Starring James Stewart, Donna Reed, and Lionel Barrymore, it is one of the most hopeful, affirming, and endearing movies ever made, a timeless masterpiece with no real equal that abounds in earnest holiday spirit.
