Dive In! to Summer Learning at the Library!
Join us every Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 pm from July 7 to August 11 and learn about water and its place in a healthy ecosystem. Activities will include stories, arts & crafts, and more!
This drop-in program is open to kids ages 8-12 and is part of our Summer Reading Club programming.
Storytime in the Park begins July 8 in Crescent Park!
Join us every Wednesday morning all summer long for Storytime in the Park! We will be enjoying stories, songs, games, and more every week. Meet us in Crescent Park in front of the library Wednesdays at 10:30 am. Any changes due to weather will be posted on our social media pages the morning of the event.
This drop-in program is open to children ages 2 and up and their caring adults.
Cree: The People's Language - A Travelling Exhibit
Visit the Library anytime between July 13 and 19 to explore Cree: The People's Language. The exhibit introduces viewers to Cree, the most widely spoken Canadian Aboriginal language.
The exhibit is appropriate for older children. Children of all ages can participate in sensory and craft activities related to the exhibit in the Children's Department.
This exhibit is on loan from the Canadian Language Museum and is offered in partnership with the Moose Jaw Literacy Network.
L'heure du conte / French Storytime!
Join us for French Storytime one Saturday a month! Rejoignez-nous pour des histoires et des chansons en français! All levels of French language are invited and encouraged to attend. Open to families with children 0-5. This is a drop-in program, no registration required.
Dive In! Pond Skimming in Wakamow Valley!
Join us on Monday, July 13 from 10am to 12pm in Wakamow Valley to explore the water in our own backyard using pond skimming kits, field microscopes and our own senses!
This program is intended for families with children ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required. Please register as one group/family.

The Library offers a variety of children's programs for all ages including storytimes, maker space programs, Saturday craft programs, and more! Check out our event calendar fo upcoming programs geared towards kids 0-12. The Library also hosts several programs for families such as Chess Club, where all ages are welcome.
