Movie: Orwell: 2+2=5
Tracing the career of George Orwell, the impacts of his writing, and its relevancy through the history of authoritarianism up to the present day, Raoul Peck’s Orwell: 2+2=5 is more than a study on an influential English author, as it cuts to the root of his political theories and observations, what they mean, and why they still matter. An important statement of a documentary film.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
