Movie: Siddharth
An honest and affecting drama from director Richie Mehta, Siddharth is an unflinching portrait of parental love and determination against a harrowing circumstance. It is about a struggling father in Delhi who out of desperation sends his twelve-year-old son off to a factory to earn some money. But when the boy does not come home for Diwali, it causes great concern and his father journeys across the country in order to find him. A grounded and intimate look at the crisis of missing children in India, the film stars Rajesh Tailang and Tannishtha Chatterjee.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:40.
