Movie: In the Mouth of Madness
An underrated cult classic from director John Carpenter, In the Mouth of Madness is a thrilling, peculiar dive into insanity. Inspired by the tendencies pervasive in the work of H.P. Lovecraft, it is about an insurance investigator following the disappearance of a famous horror novelist and slowly losing his grip on reality as he traces the man to a mysterious small town. An eerie, weird and technically inventive film of truth and fiction, paranoia, and dread, it stars Sam Neill, Julie Carmen, and Jürgen Prochnow.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:40.
