Six colourful panels present maps, photos, and information on topics including the syllabic writing system, word formation, animacy, and the future of Cree. There are also audio clips of Cree dialects from across Canada.
In addition to the exhibit children can explore activities in the Children's department about ᐸᐢᑯᐃᐧᐲᓯᒼ (paskowi-pîsim) which is July or the Moulting Moon on the Cree calendar. The Moulting Moon marks a natural period of transformation & renewal as birds shed their old feathers.
