Movie: The A.I. Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist
It is the mysterious and harrowing new technology threatening to upend our lives and perhaps society as a whole. The A.I. Doc is director Daniel Roher’s attempt to reconcile his anxiety around artificial intelligence on the precipice of having a child -contending with what it actually is, its dystopian or utopian implications, and what persons or entities stand to benefit the most from its supposed inevitability. A critically relevant, dynamic, humane documentary about both the future and the present of this Brave New World.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
