Movie: All the Beauty and the Bloodshed
Winner of Venice’s Golden Lion and a Peabody Award, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed chronicles the life and activism of photographer Nan Goldin from the AIDS crisis in the 1980s through to the ongoing opioid epidemic today. Directed by Goldin’s friend Laura Poitras, who structures the film in a manner befitting her subject’s work, it is an earnest tribute and testament to Goldin’s art and legacy, and the spirit of advocacy she inspired.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
