Movie: Beyond Utopia
Chronicling the work of Pastor Kim Seungeun in rescuing defectors from North Korea, Beyond Utopia is a tense and dramatic expose of both the highly difficult efforts in freeing people from that regime and the conditions within it that prompt their escape in the first place. Incorporating secretive footage of life north of the DMZ and interviews with those who’ve gotten out, the film is both a showcase of Pastor Kim’s important work and a glimpse into that safely guarded world.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
