Movie: All of Us Strangers
Andrew Haigh’s hypnotic film of romance and loss, All of Us Strangers is a beautiful tapestry of memory and fantasy. Based on the novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada, it is about a lonely screenwriter and the relationship he develops with a neighbour in his building whilst losing himself in recollections of his long-dead parents whose age he recently surpassed. Unconventionally structured and driven by feeling, it is an exquisitely melancholy and moving story. Starring Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Claire Foy, and Jamie Bell.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:45.
