Movie: I Saw the TV Glow
Strikingly atmospheric and dramatically exhilarating, Jane Schoenbrun’s 2024 psychological horror film I Saw the TV Glow is a colourfully surreal and inspired work. Examining the formative effect of media, themes of nostalgia and queer identity, it is the story Owen, a teenager in the 90s whose connection to a supernatural television show morphs with time into a questioning of his own reality. Moody and enigmatic, disturbing and inviting in equal measure, it is one of the most profound and unique movies in recent years. Starring Justice Smith and Jack Haven.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:40.
