Movie: Flee
A unique animated documentary directed by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, Flee is a captivating film relating the intense story of Amin, who as a child fled Afghanistan with his family, only to be separated from them as he ultimately settled in Denmark. Through coarse re-enactment, the film explores his harrowing refugee journey in tandem with his burgeoning homosexuality, allowing for an intimate, humanist portrait of a difficult and otherwise obscured life. Presented in Danish with English subtitles.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
