Movie: Mayor

David Osit’s Mayor is a grounded look at the life and work of Musa Hadid at the time that he was mayor of Ramallah in Palestine, his efforts at improving city infrastructure and planning a Christmas parade, all against the gruelling struggle to end the occupation of his home. An earnest, compassionate, searingly relevant and even unexpectedly funny movie on everyday life in a fraught corner of the world.

Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.

Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
