Movie: Decision to Leave
From visionary South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook, Decision to Leave is a beguiling romantic thriller of obsession and desire. The Hitchcockian narrative follows a detective investigating a murder and being romantically drawn to the victim’s widow as he investigates her as a suspect. A movie of considerable twists and turns and ambiguity, it is one of Park’s most thematically intense and visually dynamic films -and as of 2024 perhaps his most underrated. Starring Park Hae-il and Tang Wei.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 8:20.
