Movie: Man on Wire
In 1974, Philippe Petit accomplished an unsanctioned highwire walk between the towers of the World Trade Center in New York. James Marsh’s acclaimed and multi-award winning 2008 film Man on Wire chronicles that endeavour utilizing archive footage, photographs, and re-enactments to convey the scope and ambition of that daredevil event. A uniquely thrilling documentary that must be seen to be believed.
