Movie: Twice Colonized

Winner of a Canadian Screen Award, Lin Alluna’s 2023 documentary Twice Colonized is a rich and complex character study within a noble piece of awareness and activism. It showcases the work and advocacy of Inuk human rights lawyer Aaju Peter in both Greenland and Nunavut, her efforts to establish an Indigenous forum at the EU, and the weight of her various personal struggles and traumas. The story of a steadfast, unique individual told in a uniquely dynamic way. 

Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.

Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
