Movie: Zappa

Alex Winter’s 2020 documentary about the life and work of the provocative and singularly esoteric musician Frank Zappa takes its subject on his own terms as well as the system he spent his career raging against. Utilizing footage from his personal archives alongside performances and interviews from those who knew him best, Zappa is a fascinating in-depth portrait of an artist who skirted convention at every opportunity.

Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
