Movie: Once Upon a Time in the West
One of the great spaghetti westerns of the 1960s, Sergio Leone’s gritty epic of ranchers, outlaws, and rail barons, Once Upon a Time in the West is the sly, underdog brother to the iconic Dollars series. It follows the interlocking fortunes of a series of characters including a widow, a gangster, a psychotic killer, and a mysterious stranger with a harmonica, each connected to the machinations of a railway running through a private tract of land. Rich in its visuals, atmosphere and its exuberant score, it is a sharply subversive and breathtaking western adventure. Starring Claudia Cardinale, Henry Fonda, Jason Robards, and Charles Bronson.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 8:45.
