Movie: The Life of Chuck
Enigmatically profound and optimistic, The Life of Chuck is a fascinating, exemplary work by a genre-hopping Mike Flanagan. Based on the novella by Stephen King, it illustrates in reverse-chronological order some formative moments in the life of an ordinary man called Charles Krantz, revealing the extraordinary facets contained within. This humanist tract on the beauty of the individual soul is a rich and stunning, life-affirming film, simultaneously subtle and grand. The movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mia Sara, and Mark Hamill.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 7:50.
