Archaeology at the Garratt Site: Updates and Insights from a Special Place in Moose Jaw
The Moose Jaw Public Library in collaboration with Nature Moose Jaw, Wakamow Valley Authority, the Regina Archaeological Society and the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, will host Alan Korejbo of Respect Heritage Consulting on April 17th at 7:00pm at the Performing Arts Theatre within the Public Library.
The Moose Jaw River Valley encompasses numerous archaeological locations, notably the Garratt and Davies sites. Recent restoration work along 9th Avenue facilitated excavations that yielded extensive new insights into the valley's historical significance.
We invite everyone to attend this event to learn about recent discoveries and how they are enriching our understanding of ancient lifeways and the living landscapes that support ongoing research, education, and meaningful interactions among descendant communities, local residents, and scholars.

Located in a beautiful historic building in Crescent Park, Moose Jaw Public Library serves the City of Moose Jaw and surrounding area.
