Movie: Grizzly Man
Werner Herzog’s chilling and revelatory 2005 film about bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell and his fate at the hands of a grizzly in an Alaskan National Park is one of the most revered and definitive documentaries of the 2000s. A sharp and cautious comment on man’s relationship with a compelling yet unpredictable nature, Grizzly Man is fierce and harrowing in a way that only Herzog can muster.
