April 16th is National Canadian Film Day, so join us at the Library for a showing of the 2021 film All My Puny Sorrows, written and directed by Michael McGowan, based on the acclaimed book by Miriam Toews. It is the story of two sisters dealing with the emotional fallout and psychological scars of their Mennonite upbringing. Starring Alison Pill, Sarah Gadon, Amybeth McNulty, and Mare Winningham.
A warning that the film actively engages with themes of trauma and suicide.
Showtime will be at 6:00 in the Library theatre.
