Join us the last Thursday of every month as we showcase documentaries that rarely make it to theatres or public showings.
Movie: Four Daughters
Honing in on the story of a fractured Tunisian family where two older daughters fell to extremism by inviting actresses to play their parts in compensation, Kaouther Ben Hania’s Four Daughters is a boldly experimental record of a family tragedy, the social structures around it, and the basis of radicalization. Nominated for both the Palme d’Or and an Academy Award, this was one of the most visceral documentaries of 2023.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
