Movie: Snowpiercer
The English debut of celebrated Korean filmmaker Bong Joon-ho, Snowpiercer is an intense and incisive thriller on dystopian class struggle. Set entirely on a train encircling the planet after a devastating climate apocalypse, it is the story of a revolt when the suppressed passengers in the back of the train rise up and fight their way to the front. Deftly original in concept and execution, it is as thematically sharp as it is exhilarating. Featuring an international cast including Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, and Ed Harris.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm with a discussion afterwards at about 8:10.
