Recounting the life-work of Las Vegas activist Ruby Duncan and her fight against the American welfare system in pursuit of a guaranteed basic income, Storming Caesars Palace is a testament to the evergreen power of principles and collective action. Illustrating a fight for income justice as visceral and as relevant now as it was in Duncan’s heyday, it is a necessary inspiring story.
