Join us the last Thursday of every month as we showcase documentaries that rarely make it to theatres or public showings.
Movie: Banned Together
In a time of increasing government censorship of library materials, it is important to make a stand for the freedom to read. That is what the teenagers at the heart of Banned Together, a 2025 film by Kate Way and Tom Wiggin, did -tirelessly working to restore 97 books abruptly banned from school libraries. Their story is juxtaposed against those of other anti-censorship and Civil Rights activists engaged in the same fight. A profoundly important documentary for our times.
Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.
Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
