Join us the last Thursday of every month as we showcase documentaries that rarely make it to theatres or public showings.

Movie: Chaakapesh

An inspiring narrative of reconciliation through art, Chaakapesh chronicles the 2018 tour of an Indigenous folk opera, specially written by Tomson Highway and performed by the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, to Cree and Inuit communities in northern Quebec. A spirited celebration of music, mythology, and cultural collaboration working towards a future of understanding. 

Showtime begins at 6:00 pm.

Admission is free. No food or drink permitted in the Library Theatre. For more information, contact the Library at 306-692-2787.
